I still can't say I'm a fan of his attention being focused on you, it almost feels as if it's on purpose at this point just to get a rise out of me. Immortals, a petty lot. Even more so depending on what particular "group" you're from.

I mean, it probably doesn't help that I outright told him he reminds me of someone who used to upset me, so like. That part's definitely on me for making the reasonable assumption that he wouldn't abuse that. I'm not used to egomaniacs of quite that scale anymore.

I'm touched you don't think I'm that much of an egomaniac. He does seem the type that I've, unfortunately, run into once or twice. The kind of immortal that thinks everyone else is below them. Even if they're completely and utterly wrong in that assumption.

Honestly, it reminds me a bit of those in power of my... particular brand of elf. Reclusive, distaste of anything not that particular brand of elf. Or I suppose the eladrin, but they're more... quirky than they are haughty.

I should have expected it, really. My particular brand of Changeling is known for being a pack of cynical, spiteful bastards, so really it's on me for trying not to play into that stereotype that got me fucked over.
