Named after a dog Tyler's boyfriend had when he was a child, Dexter is... essentially just a big, lovable Rottweiler pup, in Tyler's eyes. Albeit, one who can spit fire. That raises the danger level a bit. He's the excitable, reckless kind of dog where Tyler doesn't think he'll really grow out of it, but he's taken to hand-sign commands remarkably well, and he's enjoying being trained and roughhousing with other Pokemon. Gets remarkably sulky when he loses a fight.
Evolved 9 April. Rather mundanely, Dexter evolved during a routine training session Tyler hosts for his Pokemon. He's gotten quite smart, and is able to work well with minimal commands from Tyler at this point. But he's still a dumb baby and loves positive reinforcement.

Found during Tyler's first swarm in Goldenrod. The bird made a point out of trying to attack Tyler when he accidentally ignored it, and was quickly taken out by Isis; Tyler only noticed when Dexter brought him the unconscious bird, and he caught it on a whim. Quixote has a tendency to take on opponents much, much bigger than she is without shying away, but frequently bites off more than she can chew, to the point of apparently wilful ignorance. Uses her leek in a lance-like manner.
Evolved 10 April. Her ego has gotten even bigger. Her intelligence has not. Is now competent and strong enough to ride Dexter into battle like a mount.

Originally intended to be handed over to Team Rocket, Tyler found a Hawlucha that Steven had been desperate and unsuccessful in finding himself, and the two traded. Tyler doesn't dislike the strange bug Pokemon, but he's never really encountered it before, and doesn't quite know what to make of it. For its part, the Pineco is very sedate and doesn't particularly care about its switch in trainers. It seems to take quite a bit to actually rile this Pokemon up - but when he's angry, beware, because he'll quite readily attack.
Evolved 8 April. Tyler was not expecting it to turn into a Forretress, being unfamiliar with the Pineco line. Nonetheless, his armour is even more formidable, and does well holding out against even Football's attacks.

After getting left behind post-curry cook-out, Tyler trekked back to Olivine City, then back towards Moomoo Farms; however, on realising that this would be an extremely long journey, he swung back by Moomoo Farms to pick a Pokemon for a mount. It took some convincing, but eventually he left with a Mudbray, which he felt back about riding until one of the farmers demonstrated it cheerfully dragging along a round hay bale with no concern. The baby donkey-like Pokemon is endlessly cheerful, and seems eager to prove to Tyler that she's just as strong as all the other Mudbray, despite her runty stature.
Evolved May 5. Evolved during standard training en route to Cianwood. Is now intimidatingly large, albeit still quite small for a Mudsdale. Has to bend down to let Tyler climb on and off her back now.

During the 2020 Prom, Tyler went for a brief exploration in the haunted halls of the tower it was being hosted in, and found a slight piece of Old Amber. Remembering the item from the first Pokemon games, he smuggled it into his suitcase so he could leave with it, and got it restored at the Goldenrod Pokemon Center. Tyler didn't know that Aerodactyl were big; he especially didn't know that the one he happened to receive from the amber was really big, pushing nearly seven feet across the wings.
He's also somewhat aggressive; not moreso than usual for an Aerodactyl, but enough that he actively tried to escape the reanimation area and attack people nearby; luckily Tyler was nearby to witness it, and was able to use Isis to calm Ox; not a difficult feat, given his low level.

He doesn't know much about the odd little bird he received, but so far she seems to have a fondness for sitting on his head and shoulders, and stares at people quite a lot - often to the point of unsettling them. While she seems content to not yet hurt Tyler, the impression that that's only a matter of time is very present.

While Tyler was searching for Pokemon to hand over for his quota, he stumbled across a surprisingly sedate Drowzee. An immediate Pokeball was deflected with apparent ease - it actually took quite a drawn-out battle before Tyler finally caught it. After reading up on the Pokedex entry for Drowzee, he decided to keep it for his own private team. Teller is rather large for his size, and extremely fluffy with a softness that extends beyond his mere physical form; but there's a core of steel under there, and when he gets into a fight it's both for the long-haul and for the win. Always looks two seconds from falling asleep.
Evolved 2 April. The influence of Tyler and working for Team Rocket has not shifted much in the way of Teller's gentle and outwardly harmless nature, but he's merciless and quick to use Hypnosis to solve pretty much everything.

Tyler had started doing research on local Pokemon by this point, and Steven's use of his Klefi during their heist made him realise that not all keys would be manual like that, and so he sought out a Rotom specifically for its ability to enter machinery and disable it from within. It took him until three in the goddamn morning to find one, and right when he was about to give up, one came out to meet him in a very sincerely curious matter. It barely even needed battling; Tyler held out a Pokeball and the ghostly being entered of its own accord. EVA (yes all caps) is insatiably curious, and worryingly trusting. Primarily, it stays in its base form.

When Tyler booked a hotel to rest after his hike from Olivine to Ecruteak, he didn't expect a Duskull to break into his room and try to scare him. On instinct he released Dexter, who proceeded to fuck up the ghostie before it could run away, and Tyler caught it handily. The Duskull didn't mean any particular harm; it was just a pranksy little shit who likes trying to tease the people that roamed the hotel it haunted. A surprisingly zippy and very sturdy young ghost, weaker than he looks but exceptional at being sneaky and surprising people with his attacks. Tyler is not immune and he hates it.
Evolved 21 April. Almost immediately after Jester evolved the first time, Tyler went and bought a Reaper Cloth so he could enlist Steven D into helping him evolve it a second time. Still a pranky little shit, but considerably more subtle about it now.

While Tyler was teleporting a bound and gagged old man into Slowpoke Well, a particularly glossy little Slowpoke caught his eye - since it was staring directly at him. A little unnerved at the possibility that it would somehow tell on him to someone, he caught the Slowpoke and took it with him as he left the well. It took Tyler quite a while to realise the Slowpoke was a shiny, due to how subtle their colouration difference is. She's seems like a very sweet and patient girl, but given how slow she is to react to things generally Tyler has a lot of difficulty getting a read on her.
Evolved 29 July. After Steven and Tyler reconciled from the Hythlodaeus debacle, Tyler enlisted his help in getting Gumby to evolve. She has immediately become much smarter, and Tyler finds it much easier to appreciate her.

After the Goldenrod Baseball Heist, Tyler received an egg from Steven after the latter's Pokemon evolved and made babies. Both of them were expecting a Meowth; that the Stufful, with extra luxuriously fluffy fur was the result of it, therefore, surprised them both. The baby was extremely small, for a Stufful, and quite scared of the big bad world it had been born into; but it bonded quickly with Tyler - and also Football, the Machamp immediately falling in love with the tiny baby and wishing to protect it. Even for a baby, it's extremely powerful, and as of yet doesn't know its own strength. Tyler is now short one desk chair.
As of discovering Ox, Squee has been delegated to the reserve team; which mostly means she's a pet now.
Evolved 10 June. Tyler wasn't actually home when she was sparring Football and got that final bit of experience necessary: he just got home one day and found a fuck-huge bear in his apartment. That was briefly and horribly terrifying. She's now slated to work at the Fight Club with Football.

The first was a feisty thing that, upon being fished out of the water, immediately tried to tackle him in order to get released again. Isis managed to grab it in midair with Psychic, and Tyler got it in a Pokeball with ease.
This large pink fish has a lot of rage for its size, and is always ready to have a go at someone or something. The only thing it doesn't seem inclined to try and kick the ass of is her fellow fish, Guild.

Tyler decided to try his hand at the fishing competition during the Contest Spectacular, and somehow managed to catch two Magikarp! The second was a far more sedate, if somewhat nervous-seeming Magikarp with a white underside that seemed cowed by the mere presence of Tyler.
Guild tends to stick close to Rose where he can, in a sort of 'hides behind her for safety' kind of way, but he has potential. Tyler just appreciates having a Pokemon that isn't set on destroying things for no reason.

Lydia and Tyler Fleece Old Rich Bastards: The two partners in crime distract rich old people whom Lydia has slept with before, and make off with their most expensive shit.
Screwing Over An Old Man: Steven and Tyler write up a heist to embarrass Old Man Kurt for allegedly talking smack about Team Rocket, when Steven baited him and edited it to make him look worse. Pulled off without a hitch.

Week of March 10: Goldenrod. Gets a full-time job as a Data Technician.
Week of March 17: Goldenrod > Route 39
- March 21: Curry cook-out at Moomoo Farms. Loses track of time and gets left behind by UBirds.
- March 23: Olivine City. Registers with local warp pad, begins trek back to Goldenrod
Week of March 24: Olivine > Route 38. Heading back to Goldenrod. Teller evolves.
- March 25: Goes back to Moomoo Farms and buys a Mudbray; important, because he's riding it.
- March 28: Crosses Route 39, reaches Route 38.
- March 31: Crosses Route 38, reaches Ecruteak City, warps back to Goldenrod.
Week of April 1: Goldenrod. Arrives back in the city. Back to working full-time, but he also spends the entire week mugging Rich White Men to regain some Rocket Approval.
